E.ON Staudinger power plant

E.ON Staudinger power plant - illumination of a drive turbine

Floodlights were needed at the E.ON Staudinger / Grosskrotzenburg power plant for the regular inspection work to ensure uniform illumination of the drive turbine. It was important to find a suitable solution to illuminate the hook of the crane runway so that the crane operator is not blinded. The pictures above show the luminaires that have now been mounted at a height of about 15 metres. Despite this height, uniform illumination of the hall is ensured.
A high degree of protection and resistance to dust was required. Equally important decision criteria were energy-saving and long-life technology, because of the poor accessibility (a scaffold has to be erected to change the lamps).
The main lighting is provided by 1000W HQI floodlights LUX,
each delivering a light output of 4500 watts of halogen light.

Cetecom - Emission and light distribution measurements

   Emmission and light distribution measurements.

Testing and installation of bright luminaires for measurement booths.
Very bright spotlights with extremely low interference radiation were sought,
in order not to falsify the measured values of other test specimens.
