The luminaire accessory of the VIP90 family allows fluorescent lamps to be dimmed from 0 to 100% in conjunction with a suitable dimmer. At each period of the AC voltage, the VIP90 generates a strong pulse that safely ignites the fluorescent lamp. The ignition is therefore at 100Hz. A 4-wire cable is required to operate the luminaire.
